This Privacy Policy explains what personal data EstateHive-CMS Demo collects, why, and how it's handled, in line with applicable data protection law.
Depending on how you use the Platform, we may collect: your name, email, phone number, and password; identity documents submitted for agent or landlord verification, stored encrypted where they include a government-issued identifier; property and title documents you upload for listing verification; chat messages, offers, viewing bookings, and rental/payment history; and your uploaded signature (if you're the platform owner/admin) or e-signature on a rental agreement.
We do not collect or store your debit/credit card details — payments are processed directly by our payment processor, under their own privacy and security obligations.
To create and secure your account; to verify agent identity and property title documents before a listing goes live; to generate and store your rental or commission agreements; to process rent, viewing fee, and commission payments; to send transactional emails (agreement ready, rent due, payment confirmed, and similar); and to comply with our own record-keeping obligations.
Sensitive identity documents are never displayed publicly or to other users — they are visible only to EstateHive-CMS Demo admin staff for verification purposes, and are excluded from any data export we generate. Your name and (where relevant) profile photo may be visible to the other party in a chat, viewing, or tenancy you're party to. Verified-document status (e.g. "Verified") is shown publicly on a listing; the underlying documents themselves are not.
We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see below); some records (e.g. signed agreements, payment history) may be retained where we have a legal basis to do so.
Depending on applicable law in your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and associated personal data (subject to point 4 above), and object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@example.com.
We use one essential cookie/session to keep you logged in while you browse — this is required for the site to function and cannot be disabled. We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy and our cookie banner accordingly.
We share data with our payment processor (payment processing) and our email delivery provider (transactional emails) only as needed to provide the Platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
For any privacy question or request, email admin@example.com or use our contact page.
